
Sandy started her career in 1976 with Oppenheimer Capital Corp, located in New York City, working in fixed income management. She held several positions including Fixed Income Portfolio Manager for short-term investments during the rising interest rate environment of the late 1970s.
In 1980, Sandy joined Smith Barney, working in corporate bond trading. She specialized in trading intermediate corporate bonds and worked with the retail sales force creating bond portfolios and evaluating bond swaps for retail clients.
After moving to Salt Lake City, Sandy joined Kidder, Peabody and worked directly with clients investing in stocks, bonds, and options. She later joined Piper Jaffray where she developed her lifelong interest in financial planning while working with a team handling retail clients.
From 2001 – 2013, Sandy was at Fidelity Investments. During those years, she held several positions within the organization including pioneering the role of Fidelity Life Insurance Planning Consultant. In 2010, Sandy moved to Seattle as Vice President and Regional Planning Consultant. In that role, she delivered seminars on financial and estate planning, investments, and quarterly market updates as well as acting as a resource for account executives dealing with complex planning issues.
Sandy retired from the corporate world in 2013, but that did not end her passion for financial planning. She joined The Boyle Group Wealth Management in 2015 because she shares our client-first philosophy.
